“Life can be hard; business can certainly add to the stress and strain. It’s not getting knocked to the floor that matters; we all experience that. It is how you get up that matters. Success is getting up one more time than you get knocked down. It’s about getting up and maintaining focus!”

Introduction
Many elements contribute to good leadership and it is without any doubt that your levels of emotional intelligence are amongst the most, if not the most important. I have been around the block in business terms and have seen many good people fail to complete their dream for their business. Letting the knock-backs take their toll on their ability and desire to keep fighting.
I learnt about the importance of resilience from my military career as well as my often tumultuous journey in business. There is no doubt, that although there are many elements to consider when embarking on a journey to business success, resilience certainly has a large role to play.
Resilience for me is something that needs to be learnt. During your own journey there will be times when it is a real challenge and you will get knocked back. The more you can develop resilience, the more you can show resilience the better it is for your outcomes. To be truly resilient you first have to understand what it is and how you can help yourself to be even more resilient than you already are. My hope is this short coaching course will help.
