What is a landing page? – The Rainmakers View…
I thought we would get this group going by describing what a landing page is and, in the context of the Rainmakers Hub, what we feel they should be used for. Some of you are already taking advantage of the course material related to this subject and the regular meetings we have to discuss these areas of business development.
It is certainly worth you attending these meetings as it is to contribute to this group with your questions and answers and alternate views. Don’t forget you can also use the Quick Advice system on the site and the app. You need never be in a situation where you can’t get the support to need to grow your business.
What is a landing page?
In reality, your website is nothing more than a series of landing pages that your prospects and customers can navigate to. They do this to either learn or buy. In the context of this group, we want to take the landing page to the next level and use it to create revenue for your business, both directly and indirectly.
In other areas of this group, I will share some basic wireframe landing pages that you can use within your business. A wireframe is a simple schematic of the various areas of the page and the content or media type used to populate the page.
A landing page is a page your prospect finds when they either read or click the link on an Ad on a PPC campaign or a link on a social media post of some description. The link takes the participant to a page designed to deal with just one subject, the same subject that is in the post or on the ad. The page has a clear format and a clear call to action.
The format that works best is that of Hook, Story, and Offer. More on this later. For now, I would love to learn more about your specific needs and questions relating to Landing pages…
