It should be a collaboration when you outsource, partner with others, gain fans, helpers, advocates, contractors, employees, fellow directors. The word in this context means a working practise whereby individuals work together for a common purpose to achieve business benefit. Collaboration enables individuals to work together to achieve a defined and common business purpose.
